的 Teaching Gallery at HVCC Announces Year-End 学生 Exhibits

脉冲9 featuring work by Digital Media students opens Thursday, April 4

三个, year-end exhibits by students enrolled in the Department of Fine Arts, 的atre Arts and Digital Media will be mounted during April and May at Hudson Valley Community College. 的 exhibits are open free to the public in 的 Teaching Gallery, located on the ground floor of the 政府 Building on the Troy campus.

On view Thursday, April 4 through 周六, April 13, is 脉冲9, 2024 Digital Media 学生 Art Exhibit, featuring photography, 画, 平面设计, 动画, two-dimensional design, digital imaging, video, web art and interactive media.

An opening reception including program awards is Thursday, April 4, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in 的 Teaching Gallery, where regular hours are 10 a.m. 到下午4点.m. Tuesday, 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. 到下午4点.m. Thursday and Friday, and noon 到下午4点.m. 周六.

2024 Juried Fine Art 学生 Exhibit, student work from Summer 2023, Fall 2023 and Spring 2024, and the Advanced Study in Drawing & Painting End-Of-Year Exhibit are scheduled for Thursday, April 25 through 周六, 5月4日, in 的 Teaching Gallery, with the opening reception and program awards from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. 4月25日. 的 Advanced Study in Drawing and Painting exhibit features work by students who have completed foundation art courses and elect two semesters of guided study with Professor 托马斯Lail. HVCC offers an Associate in Science degree in Fine Arts, and an Associate of Science degree or certificate in Digital Media. Most graduates plan to continue their education at a four-year college. Current enrollment is 111 in the Digital Media Program and 56 in the Fine Arts Program, up from 96 and 54 in 2023, 分别.

的 year-end exhibits are planned and installed by students enrolled in Gallery Management courses at HVCC.
